AI dash cams from €145 trade.
The video platform is free.
01 — Why this exists
The camera is not the hard part. Its price is.
Everyone in this market buys from the same handful of Shenzhen factories. What separates a €400 camera from a €150 one is the number of hands between the line and the vehicle, and a platform licence charged every month on top. We took out both.
The same class of camera, three ways to buy it
Streamax AD Plus 2.0 and the class around it, at a European distributor
€284–397
Ours, bought by a fleet from an integrator
€250–320
Ours, bought by an integrator at volume
€145–189
Every figure on that top bar is a distributor's published price with the VAT taken off, and it is checkable: the Streamax comparison costs three years of one vehicle on both sides and marks the two rows we lose. Seven more brands — Samsara, Hikvision, Teltonika and the rest — are in the comparisons.
€284–397
What the class costs today, ex VAT
Streamax AD Plus 2.0 is discounted from $699, and €397 ex VAT at a European distributor, and the entry model in the same range is €284. Then their cloud is €4.49–11.21 a vehicle a month, so three years of one vehicle is €446–801. On a hundred-vehicle fleet that is the whole budget, spent before anyone watches a clip.
€10–25
Monthly for service — none of it a platform licence
What an integrator charges a fleet for the SIM, the support and the monitoring. It is their revenue and their business; no part of it is a fee for the software, which is why the camera price is what decides the deal.
0
Platform fee, per device, per month
Video platforms are sold per camera per month, on top of the hardware. Ours is included with the devices you buy from us, and it stays at zero on every bill below us too — it is the moat, not the product.
02 — The platform you give away
A fleet keeps paying for video only if someone watches it.
Cameras produce alerts by the hundred. The platform's whole job is to get a human through them by lunchtime. Every screen below is the running application on seeded data — and all of it is free for every device you buy from us, for as long as you run it.
A review queue, not a wall of alerts
Every AI event lands in one list with the clip attached. Swipe or click a verdict, send it to the driver, and it is out of the queue. A fleet that cannot clear the queue stops looking at it by the second week.
- Filter by severity, category, vehicle or place
- Bulk verdicts: reviewed, false positive, sent to driver
- The clip, the position and the speed on one screen
Swipe the screen to look around
Evidence you can hand to an insurer
The event card carries the clip, the map, the device time against the received time, and the review trail. The share link expires on a date you pick, and works without an account.
- Clips per channel with size, length and expiry
- Pull the surrounding footage straight off the SD card
- A link an insurer or a lawyer can open, and that dies on schedule
Swipe the screen to look around
Live only when someone is watching
Sessions are started by hand and close themselves. Nothing streams in the background: over the SIM a camera sends telemetry, events and one frame each, and a clip goes up only when somebody asks for it. That is cents of cellular data a month per vehicle, not euros.
- Up to four cameras at once, with a visible countdown
- Camera health: offline, no SD card, obstructed lens
- An iOS app for the manager who is not at a desk
Swipe the screen to look around
And it also holds
White-label
Your brand, your domain, your colours. Your customers never read our name.
Multi-tenant
One account per fleet under your reseller hierarchy, with roles inside it.
SD requests
Pick a day, an hour and a window; the queue shows the transfer honestly.
Camera health
A blind camera explains an empty event list. It is on the fleet screen, not buried.
iOS app
The review queue, live video and SD pull on a phone, with push and offline. On mocked data until the gateway meets a real camera.
Your platform stays
Running Wialon? The cameras already work there. This is an option, not a migration.
03 — The hardware
16 models. These are the ones people order.
One to eight channels, ADAS and driver monitoring running on the device, firmware over the air. Everything is stocked and configured before it ships.
A two-channel AI dash cam is €145–189 to an integrator and €250–320 to the fleet that buys it from one; recorders with more channels are quoted per vehicle. Both prices in full.

04 — Where it already runs
You do not have to move platform to buy the camera.
The cameras have been in Wialon for years. Our own platform is an option you get for free, not a migration you are being sold.
Wialon
Works today 14 models, video includedDevice type BSJ Video on port 22694: event video, live stream, manual clip save and playback. EH03T, EH15, ED02R, ED08R, EH13-P, EH11, EH13, EH16, EH17, EH18, EH20, DR01, D8 and E8 are in the list today.
Next: The list holds the earlier revisions (EH03T, EH15, ED02R, ED08R); adding the current boards — DR03, EH26, EH80, EH03T-V2, EH15-V2, ED02R-V2, ED08R-V2 — with the vendor.
FleetSight
In build Our own platform, free with the hardwareEvent review, live view, SD pull, camera health, white-label and an iOS app for the manager. The application and its backend are finished and run end to end; the gateway speaks JT/T 808, JT/T 1078 and the 苏标 alarm set, and is verified against a device simulator — including live video cut to HLS without transcoding.
Next: The first real clip from a BSJ camera through the gateway is the milestone we are working to; no camera has been on the bench yet.
flespi
Partly Telemetry only, one modelThe bsj protocol parses 115+ parameters, but the only device it supports is a tracker we do not sell. No camera, no media functions, custom command only.
Next: Pushing for video-protocol support; flespi publishes reviews of popular video devices.
Traccar and open source
Partly JT808 in partThe tracking side speaks JT808; the video side does not come along with it.
Next: A JT1078 build puts the cameras into that ecosystem at no cost to anyone.
Navixy
Not yet No connector yetStreamax, LightMetrics, MettaX and Howen have one; BSJ does not.
Next: Integration request submitted through the vendor.
BSJ video runs on its own device type and port in Wialon, not over JT808 — the video half of the protocol is proprietary. Any plan that assumes "JT808 and therefore video" does not survive contact with these cameras.
Model-by-model matrix05 — What it costs
Two prices, and both are published.
One if you are putting cameras in your own vehicles, one if you sell them to fleets for a living. The monthly figure is the same either way, and it is zero: the class of camera Streamax AD Plus 2.0 sells at $560 usually arrives with a subscription attached.

06 — Before you ask
The questions that decide it.
Is the platform really free?
For devices bought from us, yes — no per-device fee, no seat count, no term, for as long as those cameras are yours. It is the reason to buy the hardware here. Devices from another source can run on the same account at €1.50–2.00 a device a month, because there is no hardware margin behind them to pay for the service. One thing to be clear about if you run the vehicles: free platform does not mean no monthly bill. Your integrator still charges for the SIM and their support — the platform line inside that bill is the part that is zero.
What is the state of the platform today?
The application and its backend are finished and run end to end — every screen, real data, roles and an audit trail. The gateway that talks to the cameras speaks JT/T 808, JT/T 1078 and the 苏标 alarm set and is verified against a device simulator, live video included; it has not yet met a BSJ camera on a bench. The hardware ships now and works in Wialon today, so nothing waits on us.
How much mobile data does a camera use?
By design, very little. Nothing streams in the background: the camera sends telemetry, its events and one frame per event — about 40 MB a month — and video goes up only when someone asks for a clip, for the window they asked for. On a typical vehicle that is €0.12–0.23 of cellular a month; an architecture that uploads everything spends around €9 for the same camera before anybody watches a thing.
Do you sell to fleets directly?
No. Fleet enquiries that reach us get routed to the integrator covering that region. We make our money on hardware, not on your customers.
Which certifications do the cameras carry?
The vendor lists IATF 16949, ISO 9001, RoHS, FCC, CE, ANATEL (Brazil), BIS (India) and NBTC (Thailand) — ANATEL is unusual for a Chinese manufacturer and it is what opens Brazil. Not on that list: E-mark and UKCA for Europe and Britain, IFT for Mexico, SASO and GCC for the Gulf, ICASA for South Africa, NCC for Nigeria. Certificates are issued per device, so tell us the country and the model and we will send the certificate or tell you it does not exist yet.
What happens when a camera fails?
Warranty is one year from shipment: the factory repairs or replaces. What we add is stock — you get a replacement unit while yours is in the queue, instead of explaining a factory turnaround to your customer.
What does one vehicle cost over three years?
€394–1,138 all in — €11–32 a vehicle a month. That is the camera at €250–320, fitting at €90–170, the card in the box, €18–36 a year of mobile data, the platform at zero and whatever support you choose to buy from your integrator. The whole table is on the fleet page, with the column saying who bills you for which line.
What do we have to tell the drivers?
A camera pointed at a person at work needs a lawful basis written down, a DPIA, written notice to the drivers before their first shift under it, and — in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands — a works council agreement that takes weeks. Start that before the freight, because it is the longer lead time. Eight of the obligations are features rather than promises: subject erasure, per-driver export, a twelve-month access log, faces and plates blurred before a clip leaves, and a cabin camera that switches off on the device.
How long until the cameras arrive?
Ten to fourteen days from European stock, four to six weeks for a restock from the factory, six to eight for a configuration we do not hold. A replacement for a failed unit comes out of the same buffer on the same ten to fourteen days, so a dead camera is a swap and not a repair queue.
Can I try before I order?
Two demo cameras at your own trade price, configured for the vehicle and the platform you run before they ship, plus a walkthrough of the software. What you pay for them comes off your first order, so a demo that turns into business costs you nothing in the end and one that does not costs you two cameras.
Put one in a vehicle before you decide.
Tell us the platform you run, the vehicles you fit and roughly how many cameras a year. You get the current price list, the certificate list for the models you care about, and two demo cameras configured for your platform before they ship — at your own trade price, credited against your first order.
