01 — What the filings say

A listed company does not get to choose which numbers to publish

These six decide whether a supplier is still there in three years, which is the only question that matters when the warranty is one year and the fleet is on the road for five. The links under them open the documents the figures came out of.

The 2025 report names South Africa and India as the destinations behind the export terminals it breaks out — 1.18 million units and ¥144 m between them. Europe is not in that table. A quarter of this factory's revenue is already earned abroad, and almost none of it here: that gap is the whole reason we exist.

Filed on cninfo, the disclosure portal of the Chinese securities regulator, where a wrong figure is a criminal matter rather than a marketing one. The 2025 accounts were filed on 20 April 2026 and the half-year on 25 August 2026. Euro figures are at 7.8 CNY/EUR and rounded — argue with the yuan.

Term

One year from shipment, repair or replacement on a manufacturing or material defect.

Turnaround

Thirty calendar days from arrival at Huizhou, in warranty. Fifteen working days at Shenzhen, out of it.

Who pays

Return freight is ours; import duty into China is theirs while the unit is in warranty.

Spares

Free in warranty, against return of the failed part within a year.

Batch returns

A distributor may hold failed units and clear them once a year rather than ship singles.

From the manufacturer's own warranty policy. Thirty days in a queue in Huizhou is why we hold a buffer in Europe: your customer gets a working unit on the usual ten to fourteen days while the failed one makes that trip.

05 — What we could not stand up

Four claims that did not survive a check

Everything above is a filing, a counter or an address you can check without asking us. These four are not, and a page that printed only the first kind would be worth exactly as much as the factory's own.

• The certificates have no numbers

  BSJ shows eight marks — IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, CE, FCC, ANATEL, BIS, NBTC — as pictures, without certificate numbers or the body that issued them. Nothing there can be looked up in a registrar's database. Tell us the model and the country and we ask for the certificate itself.

• The Berg Insight line does not check out

  Their site carries an image saying BSJ is recognised by Berg Insight as a leading aftermarket telematics hardware supplier. Berg Insight's public ranking names Teltonika, Xirgo, Jimi IoT, Queclink and CalAmp, then a longer list — BSJ is not in it. Until we see the report page that says otherwise, we do not repeat the claim.

• The line counts disagree with each other

  The website says 28 SMT lines, the corporate film says more than twenty automated lines, and a caption in the same film says nearly forty semi-automatic assembly lines. Those are three counts of three different things, and we print them as the vendor does rather than picking the biggest.

• Nine million devices is their figure

  So is thirty countries, so is four hundred patents. None of it appears in the audited accounts in that form. The revenue and the share of it earned outside China do, and that is why those are the numbers at the top of this page.
