01 — Platform by platform
Five platforms, and the honest state of each
One works today, one is ours and still in build, two work in part and one does not work at all. The "Next" line under each says what is being done about it, or that nothing is.
Wialon
Works today 14 models, video includedDevice type BSJ Video on port 22694: event video, live stream, manual clip save and playback. EH03T, EH15, ED02R, ED08R, EH13-P, EH11, EH13, EH16, EH17, EH18, EH20, DR01, D8 and E8 are in the list today.
Next: The list holds the earlier revisions (EH03T, EH15, ED02R, ED08R); adding the current boards — DR03, EH26, EH80, EH03T-V2, EH15-V2, ED02R-V2, ED08R-V2 — with the vendor.
FleetSight
In build Our own platform, free with the hardwareEvent review, live view, SD pull, camera health, white-label and an iOS app for the manager. The application and its backend are finished and run end to end; the gateway speaks JT/T 808, JT/T 1078 and the 苏标 alarm set, and is verified against a device simulator — including live video cut to HLS without transcoding.
Next: The first real clip from a BSJ camera through the gateway is the milestone we are working to; no camera has been on the bench yet.
flespi
Partly Telemetry only, one modelThe bsj protocol parses 115+ parameters, but the only device it supports is a tracker we do not sell. No camera, no media functions, custom command only.
Next: Pushing for video-protocol support; flespi publishes reviews of popular video devices.
Traccar and open source
Partly JT808 in partThe tracking side speaks JT808; the video side does not come along with it.
Next: A JT1078 build puts the cameras into that ecosystem at no cost to anyone.
Navixy
Not yet No connector yetStreamax, LightMetrics, MettaX and Howen have one; BSJ does not.
Next: Integration request submitted through the vendor.
BSJ video runs on its own device type and port in Wialon, not over JT808 — the video half of the protocol is proprietary. Any plan that assumes "JT808 and therefore video" does not survive contact with these cameras.
Running Wialon? That is the one row on this matrix that needs no caveat, and it has a page of its own: the device type, the port, the fourteen models and what an operator gets inside Wialon .
Your platform is on this list. The camera is the only decision left.
